You will join the engineering team working on GEODP, a SaaS platform used by municipalities to manage public domain occupancy (permits, billing, workflows).

The product is currently undergoing a major modernization phase, with a focus on:

stabilizing and improving an existing large legacy system
progressively evolving toward a more scalable architecture
improving performance, maintainability, and delivery speed

You will work in an Agile international environment with Product, QA, and Engineering teams.

The team is based in Budapest, working closely with stakeholders across Europe.

We are hiring 2 profiles:

1 Medior Full-Stack Engineer
1 Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Both work on the same product and stack, with different levels of autonomy and technical ownership.

What you will work on

Develop and maintain full-stack features in .NET / Angular
Contribute to the evolution of a large existing codebase (including legacy VueJS / Razor parts)
Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
Participate in Agile delivery with Product and QA
Work on incremental modernization of the platform

Additional responsibilities (Senior only):

Define technical direction on key product areas
Lead refactoring and modernization initiatives
Make architectural recommendations (API design, modularization, scalability)
Mentor engineers and support technical growth of the team
Act as technical reference on complex topics

About our tech stack :

Backend: .NET
Frontend: Angular (+ legacy VueJS / Razor)
CI/CD: Git, pipelines
Containerization: Docker (Kubernetes nice to have)
Architecture: evolving monolith → modular / scalable architecture

About the engineering context :

Existing mature product with significant legacy and technical debt
Active modernization phase (no greenfield, real transformation work)
Small but growing engineering hub in Budapest
Close collaboration with product teams in a multi-country setup

Who you are

Medior :

3–5 years in .NET development
Experience with Angular or similar frameworks
Comfortable working on existing systems (not only greenfield)
Interested in scalable SaaS architectures

Senior:

5+ years in .NET full-stack development
Strong experience in system design or architecture topics
Comfortable taking technical decisions in a complex environment
Ability to mentor and drive technical improvements
