As our Medior Financial Accountant, you will perform accounting activities for the Dutch entities of the Sogelink Group. You will work closely with other accountants and contribute to accurate and well-organized financial administration.

What you will do

• Perform monthly and annual closings for the Dutch entities, working closely with other accountants.

• Prepare annual financial reports and support statutory audits.

• Submit VAT declarations and other mandatory reports, including Intrastat.

• Create monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on unusual or outdated items.

• Conduct cash flow analyses and provide management with insights.

• Carry out ad-hoc analyses to support operational or strategic decisions.

• Help improve and standardize accounting processes, contributing to efficiency and accuracy.

• Book account payable invoices.

Who you are

• You hold an HBO degree in Accounting or Finance.

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or at an external audit firm.

• You have strong knowledge of Dutch accounting regulations; IFRS knowledge is a plus.

• You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high sense of responsibility.

• You are comfortable with ERP systems and have advanced Excel skills.

• You enjoy solving problems, are proactive and organized, and thrive in an international team.

• You are fluent in English and ideally also speak Dutch.
