As UX Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop the international team, define a cross-product UX vision, and ensure that customer-centric design is at the heart of product decisions. This is a hands-on and strategic role: you will influence product strategy, drive UX practices, and contribute directly to critical initiatives when needed.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Platform teams to align priorities with roadmaps, foster collaboration across countries, and build bridges between products, people, and strategy.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the international UX team, coaching designers and team leads to grow UX maturity.

• Define and enforce UX/UI standards, patterns, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and design system governance.

• Drive a cross-product UX vision and improve end-to-end customer journeys.

• Participate in discovery workshops, design sprints, and high-priority initiatives.

• Translate user research and insights into actionable roadmap decisions.

• Collaborate with PMs, EMs, and Platform teams to align design priorities with roadmaps and engage in scaled agile planning (PI Planning).

• Allocate design resources strategically across teams and domains.

• Promote inclusive design practices and foster knowledge sharing across countries.

Who you are

• You are a strategic, hands-on UX leader, fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus), who thrives on building teams, influencing product strategy, and improving customer experiences across multiple countries.

• You have at least 5 years of UX experience, including leadership, and are comfortable coaching, mentoring, and developing designers. You are experienced with design systems, accessibility, and UX research practices, and willing to travel occasionally.

• You enjoy tackling challenges, introducing structure where needed, and fostering collaboration across teams with different maturity levels. Your focus is on impact and influence, not only on craft.
