Drive finance strategy and operational excellence for Sogelink Netherlands & Norway

As our International Controller, you will be a key business partner to the Managing Directors of the Netherlands and Norway, helping to translate financial data into actionable insights. You will support growth, optimize performance, and ensure financial integrity across these markets, contributing directly to Sogelink’s expansion in Europe.

What you will do
Partner with the Netherlands and Norway MDs to provide actionable financial insights.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Perform deep-dive analysis to drive Revenue/ARR growth, cost optimization, and Rule of 40 performance.
Prepare and present standardized monthly financial reporting packages to the CEO, CFO, and local MDs.
Ensure accurate ARR tracking and forecasting via JMAN, Planful, and ERP systems.
Support implementation of Planful P&L tools, becoming the “go-to” expert for your markets.
Review and coach FP&A team members, ensuring high-quality performance and development.
Monitor professional services billing and utilization to maximize consultancy revenue.
Prepare strategic initiatives to boost bookings and recurring revenue streams.
Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and assist in M&A activities as needed.
Gather, integrate, and synthesize data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights.
Collaborate cross-functionally across finance and accounting teams within the group.
Visit or meet with Norway MD as required to ensure strong local alignment.
Who you are
Experienced in financial planning, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
Proficient with ERP and financial planning systems; advanced Excel and spreadsheet modeling skills.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Able to translate complex data into clear recommendations and insights.
Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable working across functions and geographies.
Self-starter with initiative, capable of thriving in a fast-paced international environment.
Knowledge of SQL or other basic coding is a plus.
Multi-lingual is a strong advantage.
