What you will do

• Perform monthly and annual closings for Dutch entities in coordination with other accountants

• Prepare annual financial statements and assist with statutory audits

• Submit VAT, Intrastat, and other regulatory reports accurately and on time

• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on unusual items

• Analyze cash flows and provide insights to support operational decisions

• Execute ad-hoc analyses to assist the team and management

• Contribute to process standardization and efficiency improvements

• Book accounts payable invoices and support accounts receivable activities

Who you are

• You hold an HBO degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

• You have 3–5 years of experience in a finance role, ideally in an audit firm

• Strong knowledge of Dutch accounting regulations and IFRS

• Solid experience in general accounting, including accounts payable/receivable and debtor/creditor management

• Familiarity with treasury activities and payment processes

• Good understanding of local tax compliance (VAT, statutory reporting)

• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel, experience with AFAS is a strong advantage

• Excellent analytical skills, meticulous, and highly responsible

• Proactive problem-solver, organized, and thrives in an international team

• Fluent in Dutch and English
