Join Sogelink Netherlands and play a key role in shaping the financial operations of both Dutch entities and the wider Sogelink group. You will take ownership of accounting and control processes, ensure accurate reporting, strengthen cash and working capital management, and actively contribute to process and control improvements that support strategic decision-making.
What you will do
Accounting, closing & reporting
Lead monthly and annual closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate statutory audits
Submit VAT, Intrastat, and other regulatory reports on time and with precision
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and proactively resolve aged or unusual items
Cash, treasury & working capital
Manage cash and treasury activities to optimise liquidity and working capital
Oversee liquidity planning and cash forecasting
Manage banking relationships and daily payment processes
Monitor collections, AR ageing, and credit risk exposure
Control & compliance
Ensure strong financial controls and support their continuous improvement
Contribute to transfer pricing processes (agreements, invoicing, compliance)
Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP, IFRS, tax and statutory requirements
Analysis & business support
Analyse cash flows and financial performance to support decision-making
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to optimise operations and guide strategy
Support group-wide accounting and control initiatives with international teams
Process & improvement
Drive standardisation, efficiency improvements and best practices across finance
Strengthen internal controls and support implementation of new processes
Who you are
CPA / ACCA qualified with at least 5 years of experience in accounting, audit or controlling
Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS
Experienced in both accounting and financial control environments
Solid expertise in:
General accounting (AP, AR, GL)
Cash management and treasury processes
Collections, dunning and credit management
Liquidity planning and banking operations
Transfer pricing basics and invoicing flows
Strong analytical mindset, detail-oriented and proactive
Autonomous, reliable and able to manage complex responsibilities
Comfortable working in an international environment
ERP proficient and advanced Excel user
Leadership potential and ability to mentor others
Fluent in English, Dutch is a strong advantage
